Team

Members

Phantom consists of 12 team dedicated kids that range from 13 - 16 years old living in the greater Houston area.

One of our teammates travels over 35 miles just to attend our meetings.

All teammates started in FIRST Lego League (FLL) and some in FLL Junior. We ALL are committed to sharing FIRST values in the community.

Our team works two to three days a week, and dedicates free time to working on making our team stronger. We all share a passion for robotics and do our best to put that through our outreach.

We have worked hard to bring STEM into our community and teach people about robotics and FIRST.

Our

Goals

  • Spread FIRST and STEM In Our Community

Our team is committed to spreading FIRST in our community, especially by teaching younger kids. We have reached over 4,000 kids this season, and we are working to create a curriculum that will reach more kids throughout the world.

  • Have a Balanced Team

We want our team to have a strong balance between robots and outreach. All of our team members work on outreach and robot, and we make sure to spend a certain amount of time each day to work on the Engineering Notebook.

  • Improve With Each Season

We work hard to learn from our mistakes and reflect on our team. Our team has continously improved with each season, and we will not be stopping any time soon.

Phantom In The Community

Our community is something that we take a lot of pride in, and something that we care about. Since the community has helped us, we want to give back. That's why our team works hard to teach people in our community about STEM, to raise money for organizations, and to help people get from one place to another.

That is the most gratifying work out there.
